Mission Summary
With Francine being Betazoid, we hear that her father is the reason for her
nightmares, not Amras as Guilder first assumed. Her father (Robert) is dying
and he has reached the stage where he can communicate with immediate family
over greater distances as he approaches his final days. Communications are
not the norm and he is telepathically transmitting past memories though they
are not his own!
At maximum warp, we can get to Betazed in 2 days, but we must deviate
immediately from our course to Earth. Also to do this, we must get this
order late afternoon, MD4. Guilder, who is emotionally involved, makes the
decision to deviate to Betazed. This will lead to calls from Earth asking
why we are not bringing the Alien craft to Earth. Mission of mercy. 10 day
delay.
Guilder and Amras have spoken in Sickbay (JP as we speak) we learn that he
cannot be separated from his ship for long periods as he gains all his
life-force from the "Timestream" (TBC) that is held within his ship.
During the journey, following several more demands for the ship to be
brought back to Earth, we discover the truth (and I am guessing here, the
final decision will be Mikes) but we learn the ship is Temporal and the ship
is able to convert spatial energy from different timelines and sources and
that is then transmuted into energy that enables Amras to survive and his
real age will be whatever :)
