Personality & Traits

General Overview Intense and focused. Works hard to keep his emotions in check and prevent them from showing. Cool under fire. He is usually serious, but knows when to have a little fun. Always puts the Corp first. Always. Often feels \'fleeties\' restrict his options too much. Dislikes playing political games and dealing with \'red-tape\'. Also dislikes the tendancy many COs have of using marines for high-speed security personnel. Has a very casual attitude towards his own death.
Strengths & Weaknesses Strengths:
High pain tolerance, bordering on masocism. Tactically and technically proficient. Has a great deal of combat experience against multiple species, including Borg, Jem\'Hadar and Romulans. Can cook.

Weaknesses:
Has little knowledge of technical subjects outside his occupation. Has a tendancy to jump chain-of-command when taking initiative. Has a short-fuse for idiots, hypocrites and incompatent leadership. Has very little in the way of a personal life.

Personal History Jaeger (pronounced Yay-ger) comes from a long line of combat arms personnel stretching back to the Second Earth World War. Eric Audie Jaeger was the only child born to civilian Jessica and then Ensign Audie Jaeger on 21May while on a family vacation to San Antonio, Texas. His maternal grandmother was full betazoid, making him a quarter, but so far no sign of any of the associated abilities have appeared. Soon afterwards, Audie got his dream assignment, a fighter slot on a Federation starship. His father\'s job as a pilot meant that he was seldom home. Eric was closest to his mother, who later died of an unknown illness when he was twelve.

Around age nine, Eric\'s attention was captured by one of the many movies about the defeat of the Xindi. What captivated him were the MACOs. Upon finding out that his lineage contained a MACO who participated in those actions, he was escatic. He became dissappointed though then he was told that the MACOs no longer exist. To help combat his dissappointment, his father decided to introduce his to several of his marine buddies. Young Eric was in awe of them.

He continued to visit them, becomeing almost a sort of surrogate little brother to many of the younger marines. His father was killed in action when he was fifteen, leaving him on his own. He managed to avoid going to a foster family, living by himself with occassional help from the marines or his father\'s fellow pilots. When he enlisted, he allegedly lied about his age, stating he was seventeen when he was likely atleast a year younger. He is also suspected to have falsified a guardian\'s signature.
