| Personal History | Nickname: Isa/Belle/Trouble Conceived on her parents honeymoon in Venice, Isabelle was born on March 3rd of the Terran calendar in her family home, the Palace Ta'ila, on Medara, Betazed, to Lord Enrique and Lady Estelle. She is the eldest of three children and the only girl. A daughter of the 7th house of Betazed, House of Courage , Belle grew up lacking nothing in the realm of education and personal belongings. But her parents longed for a son, which was strange as Belle, being female would inherit the 'family house and Wealth, and she was left to nannies both before and after her brothers were born. She was sent to Betazed's exclusive All girls school where she learned early on that her family was not that important in the grand scheme of things. She took that lesson to heart and set about putting distance between herself and her family, changing her last name from Suder to Souder. She learned to block her mind so she would not hear other's thoughts and like most Betazoids she is telepathic and empathic. When the Dominion war started, her parents sent their three children to Earth. It was an experience for Isabelle who had never been off Betazed unlike her two younger brothers who had traveled extensively with their parents and Tutors. She often left heir palatial suite at the Ritz to wander the streets of NYC without permission or guardianship. At 17 she learned there was more then the Life her parents had mapped out for her, which included betrothal to a young man of the 2nd house named Edward. She found her self in a line to apply to Starfleet and did not change her mind, signing on the dotted line as it were without a change of thought. Two days later she moved out of the family's suite without a word and caught a planet hopper to San Francisco. She arrived not sure what she wanted to major in but soon found Operations to her liking. She spent the first 6 months getting use to the grueling schedule for her classes and avoiding Com. calls from her parents who, when they had learned of her "defection" tried to get her back to Betazed even though the planet was in danger of being over taken. When Betazed was captured Isabelle lost all contact with her parents for 2 years. Isabelle like all cadets of her era saw the Dominion war as something to fight against and strove to make sure her grades were good enough to graduate and join the fight. But in 2375 the war suddenly ended. But Isabelle did not give up, She continued her studies, and in 2380 put in for Command school to be started after completion of her 4th year. It was also in 2380 that her parents arrived on Earth to collect her brothers from their exile. They also wanted to take Belle back to Betazed so she could attend university and marry Edward. But Belle merely ignored them and continued on working towards her goal, the four rank pips of a Captain. She undertook her cadet cruise on the USS Danger Force, where she and her then lover Gillian Mitchell learned a lot about Starship operating procedures. They broke up just before graduation. Isabelle completed her four years with ease and graduated 5th in her class of 300. She then went to Starfleet Command School. She worked hard and made close friends with her instructor Lieutenant JG Harrison Jayne. But their relationship only lasted a year. After graduation she was transferred to the USS Resolute. She spent a year working hard to get herself settled into her job before looking for the elusive companionship she wanted. In 2382, she met Lieutenant Michael Olsen and Lieutenant JG Jordan Olsen a married couple on the Resolute. Michael was a security officer and Jordan a Medical Officer. She met them when her sleep patterns went wonky causing her to sleep walk nude around the ship. It was determined that it was stress causing her to sleep walk and between the three of them they made an arrangement that solved her sleep walking issues. She moved in with them and their relationship was strong for 3 years, even to the point of Michael asking Isabelle to marry him, so the three of them would have a group marriage. But Belle turned him down. For she believed herself still betrothed to Edward. While on the Resolute she went for her Bridge Certification and passed. But it would not become active until she gained the rank of full lieutenant. The captain also awarded her the Preantares ribbon for excellence in her duties as Operations Assistant chief. Towards the end of 2385, Isabelle learned that her betrothed had died in a cave in while he was spelunking on Earth. She celebrated with Jordan and Michael, but the next day she learned that she was being transferred to the USS Sarek. Belle severed the relationship with Michael and Jordan as gently as possible and all three knew that it would be for the best. She packed up her belongings and headed for the Sarek. After Several months she was transfered off to the Station Anteras for extensive Medical treatment. But after 4 months of complete bordem she demanded to go back to Sarek. She caused a lot of issues until they sent her back to the Sarek with sighs of relief. She raced back to the Sarek overjoyed to be 'Home' again, to find things not so happy. Well she will work things out. A short time after she returned, she learned that Michael and Jordan were killed in an explosion and their daughter Maegan became Isabelle's child when they left her sole custody of the infant. The child is very young and Isabelle has no experience with children but she will learn and she wants to do the right thing by Maegan.
