Personality & Traits

General Overview With his El-Aurian back ground, he tends to be a good listener. He is fairly level headed in combat situations. Grew up learning about the sciences. An easy going preson, which makes it difficult for others to make him angry. Gets along with all kinds of people, which is why many people trust him. It’s in his nature to be a listener.
Strengths & Weaknesses Strengths: Sense of duty. Science knowledge, very good listening skills. Level headed during combat. The amount of drinks he can hold down.

Weaknesses: Not very good with any kind of weapons like phasers. Can not pilot shuttles. Does not speak much. Tends to do things on his own. Hates blood wine.
Ambitions He tries to be the best science officer he can. Always reading up on the latest discoveries. Not afraid to ask questions, in order to further his knowledge.
Hobbies & Interests Avid drinker. Trying out different drinks. Reading. Writing. Holodeck programs, ones that involve late 20th century, and sport themes.

Personal History Both of Lucius’ parents were refugees. They were forced to leave their home when the Borg destroyed their world. They were one of the lucky ones to be saved by the Enterprise-B. During the mission that legendary Captain Kirk lost his life. Once the Enterprise-B made it back to Earth Lucius’ parents, Kayla and Folen, settled in the New York City area of Earth. His father opened up a pub, like the one he had on the El-Aurian home world. This gave his mother the opportunity to start a psychiatry practice. She got her degree and open up her own office, in an empty space above the bar.

Once everything was set and the two have been settled into a way of life on Earth they decided to start a family like the one they planned on before their expulsion from their home world. His parents first had a daughter, Ivy. A few years later they had Lucius. Then a decade after Lucius came his younger brother Michael. Michael and Ivy got their names from the couple that took their parents in after they arrived on Earth. Lucius got his name from his grandfather. It is customary in the Brytor family to name the first son after the fathers, father.

While in school Lucius excelled in the sciences. He enjoyed the sciences more then any other subject. After he was done with school he went to work in his fathers bar. He turned down many scholarships to universities around the planet. It wasn’t what he wanted to do. He felt at home in the bar, listening to people and helping them in anyway he can while pushing the latest of his father’s brews.

While working at his fathers bar, he befriended a local scientist. At most times you can see Lucius and that scientist talking away, with the scientist doing most of the talking. The scientist told him tails of his journeys around the galaxy. This scientist friend of his was once in Starfleet. When Lucius wasn’t tending bar with his father he was studying and looking up anything he can get his hands on about being a science officer in Starfleet. So he studied up and entered Starfleet academy.

Since he figured he all the time in the world, being El-Aurian and all, he thought he would take his time going through the academy and not rush himself. So he went through the basic four years. He finished this time at the academy and was shipped off to his first post, the Excelsior.

Going in he was an Ensign, and the third shift Science Officer on board. After about seven years on that ship he was promoted to Lt. junior grade and to the Assistant to the Chief Science Officer. His ship the Excelsior was on the front lines of the Dominion war and his ship saw plenty of action. Once the war was over there was a need for officers and some ships were spread pretty thin. Lucius was given an opportunity to become a Chief Science Officer so he took it. Lucius finds himself on a new ship and around a new crew. A fresh start on board the Sarek awaits him.
