Physical Description Ally is small and slim in stature, at only just over 5 feet tall. She has long black hair and a pale complexion. Her piercing blue eyes are her most notable feature. Her hair is a mixture of black and blonde, with each colour coming to the fore when the light is right. When she walks, she has a slight bounce in her step.

Personality & Traits

General Overview Aleksandria learned Federation Standard English at a very early age, she became fluent around age thirteen. When she speaks, her russian accent is obvious, and she has the odd habit of only ever swearing in Russian. Another little quirk of hers is her attachment to a pair of grey fingerless gloves that she was given as a child, one saying Love, and the other saying Hate. She is also very shy around people she does not know well, usually she wont speak up in a group unless asked a question. She becomes animated when behind the controls of a fighter.
Strengths & Weaknesses Aleksandria's biggest flaw is her temper, it can get the better of her in arguments, she has two counts of assaulting a fellow crewman from when she was nineteen years old. When asked about it now, however, she will say that she has moved on from those violent ways. Her biggest strength is her sense of duty, Starfleet comes before everything in her life, even her family. The Poskov family has come to accept this as the normal way of life, due to Ally's father's time in Starfleet when she was a child.
Ambitions Ally's main goal in life is to one day be the CO of an Air Group.
Hobbies & Interests Ally's interests incude reading, writing, singing, athletics and sharpshooting. She also enjoys social drinks with friends.

Personal History Aleksandria Poskov was born in the city of St. Petersburg, Russia, on Earth. She was born into a family for which Starfleet was not just a career but a way of life. Her father and grandfather were both in Starfleet when she was born, her father had risen through the ranks and gained a commission. He was a comparativly old Ensign when his daughter was born. Ally's mother, Marija, was a Doctor in her home city of St. Petersburg. Although her husband spent much of his time out on missions with Starfleet, she refused to leave the city. Ally grew up in the family home that was attached to Marija's family practice.

When Ally was twelve, her father suffered a greivous injury while on serivce with the fleet. The ship he was serving on became caught up in an asteroid field. The ship survived, but the then Lieutenant JG Poskov was injured badly when a damaged warp plasma conduit exploded. He lost his right leg to the hip, but refused to quit. He continued to serve with a prosthesis.

Ally was a tomboy as a child, she loved being outdoors and playing sports. On the rare occasion that her father was home, they played football and went shooting. Aleksandria proved to be a gifted target shooter. On one occasion, that neither person has forgotten, she actually beat her father at the sport.

Ally and her brother Mikhail had a close relationship as children and teenagers, they shared the same circles of friends. Their relationship was often physical, as they often ended up in play-fights with one another. Mikhail was by far more giften academically than his sister, but he preferred to life a physical life. He became an apprentice mechanic at age 16. By age 18, he had enlisted as a mechanic in the Starfleet Fighter Corps.

Ally herself enlisted in Starfleet at age 18. Her brother was only 14 at the time, and as such was very jealous. She enlisted for service in Security. She enjoyed duty and responsibility, but did not see the Marine Corps as her future. Her father was very disappointed that she did not go into Starfleet Academy. He felt the same about his son, but reluctantly went along with his childrens' plans for life.

After attaining the rank of Chief Petty Officer, Ally was offered a commission for special circumstances. During her time in Starfleet she had demonstrated notable skill in piloting, and as such, the captain of the USS Billingsley recommended her for a commission, so she could further develop her flying as a full time career in Starfleet. She achieved the rank of ensign at age 25. Then, at age 26, she was promoted to Lieutenant Junior Grade so she could command the USS Aegir's Aerospace Department.

During her time on the Aegir, she came face to face with alot of challenges. These included a face-off with a Romulan Warbird, and a very eventful Joint-Mission with the Klingons. Unfortunatly, during the mission, she came into conflict with the Klingon leader, after she was ordered to defend a space-faring lifeform from attack. The Klingon charged Ally, and her Razor was destroyed. She was badly injured, but returned to service.

When she returned, the found out that the USS Aegir had been mothballed. It was a blow to her, as the Aegir had been her home. The Fighter Wing of the Aegir petitioned Starfleet Command to stay together and were allowed to, adopting the name 'Gulf Wing'. Ally continued to lead the Wing, being promoted to Lieutenant Commander. They were assigned to the USS Sarek, which had the capacity for a Wing, but no craft. Ally and her Wing had finally found a new home.
