General Overview		Not the stereotypical/normal marine since he is a very polite, quite diplomatic and eloquent person who is interested in most aspects of politics. Is a competent tactician who very rarely let his emotions get the upper hand.
Strengths & Weaknesses		He is adept in coming off as cordial and likable, on top of that he is calm under pressure and generally a good tactician. But like most people he has his weaknesses, one is that he his empathic and telepathic abilities is below average than that of most Betazoids. He is also a quite poor engineer, this is something he is well aware of and thus he let more capable hands deal with anything that has to do with engineering.
Ambitions		Devon\'s ambitions are rather limited, although his main ambition in life is to see to it that nothing bad ever happens to his homeworld again. He also has the desire to one day pursue a political career.
Hobbies & Interests		Social/Political Science, military history and wilderness survival. His interest in wilderness survivial he picked up at Starfleet Academy thanks to a fellow cadet.

Personal History		Devon was born on Betazed in 2352 as the eldest child to Kestra and Tam Caslet, two local politicians. The fact that his parents were both politicians naturally coloured his childhood and he learned a lot about how to debate and what it’s like to be a politician at an early age. As all Betazoids he received telepathic training although his abilities was and is a bit lower than the average Betazoid. Following the end of the standard elementary School which ended when he was 18 he applied to the University of Betazed and was accepted, since he wanted to follow in his parents’ footsteps he choice to study social science and especially political science. He had all but graduated and acquired a Bachelor\'s degree in Social Science when the Dominion launched its surprise attack on Betazed and like most Betzoids Devon was stunned that his home world had been conquered, but after a couple of months he joined the resistance to join the effort of getting the invaders of their ! home planet. After several gruelling months in the Betazoid resistance Starfleet finally liberated the world and the experience had changed Devon in the aspect that he wanted do something to protect Betazed even after the war and thus he applied to Starfleet Marine Academy in 2375. Upon his graduation from the Marine Academy in 2379 he was assigned to the USS Maine as Assistant Platoon Commander, there he stayed for 2 years until he was reassigned the USS Sarek.
