Welcome to the USS Sarek NCC-46517!

The USS Sarek is an Ambassador class vessel assigned as flagship to Taskforce 72 in Obsidian Fleet. At present, the Sarek is still looking for a Helmsman and a Diplomatic Officer. Please apply to this site if you wish to join, rather than using IFS. Various junior officer positions are also open for application

The USS Sarek is a PG-15 rated Play by Web/E-mail(PBW/E) roleplay sim based in the Star Trek universe around the time frame of the Star Trek: Nemesis movie. Our current year is 2385. Please note that if you are NOT 15 years old or above, you WILL be denied membership. If you apply and it is found out that you are under age, you will be banned from future application to the Sarek, and a message will be sent to Obsidian Fleet's PLO.

Note to new joinees: You are required to participate in and post a joint post within your first week of joining. A personal log or solo post are also acceptable. This is to prevent being listed as "no posts recorded" for any length of time and encourage you to get started immediately. If you do not post within the first seven days, you WILL receive a strike for not posting.

Posts and personal logs (barring the dictation part) must be in past tense and third person. First person posts are not permitted. They must also contain decent, legible English be that the Queen's English, or American. Respect another's use of either however and do not edit without co-author permission.

The USS Sarek will not follow the timeline where Romulus gets destroyed. For all intents and purposes, events as happened in Star trek XI will NOT be permitted to be used on Sarek mission posts, unless it is specified by either CO or XO that the Sarek has entered a parallel universe. Posts containing references to the 2009 movie WILL get edited accordingly!

Somewhere this afternoon/evening, GMT timezone I'll be transferring our mission over to "Safehaven". Any posts happening after 1800 hours on MD4, please switch them to Mission 10. Any posts in progress BEFORE this time, may remain on the old mission title if you so choose.

Mission 10, as explained, will start late MD4 and will carry on through on MD5 and 6, when we'll reach Betazed. We'll probably time jump this but anything on MD5 may of course be backposted. (as we all know it can take ages to RP a single mission day :D)

As usual if you've any ideas for subplots and character development, we'll be happy to accomodate you, just please run the basic idea by us first.

We will switch over to M10 upcoming monday. In play this affects nothing as it carries on our current plot with Amras. M10 will start on MD4 so this affects nothing as well.

To have a quick read, go to "missions" and then select "upcoming missions" to have a read on the summary and the mission notes.

USS Sarek will experience server down time from tonight until tomorrow morning, UK timezone. Exact time at which the server will go back online is at this point unknown.

And the winner is......Commander Aaron Guilder! Congratulations :D

Also...Sarek was runner up to the Simm of the year. We were tied with Leto and the Aleron. Ultimately in a revote between the ties, we lost out just to Leto Colony.
